Connection with parents and caregivers has historically been a problem for schools. The last six months have highlighted how much of a struggle caregiver engagement can be and has opened the eyes of caregivers to many of the realities associated with dimensions of teaching, learning, and attending to students' overall social-emotional health. From the perspective of full-service community schools (FSCS) what lessons have been learned about how to successfully integrate parents and caregivers into educational systems?
