Throughout the COVID 19 global pandemic, K-12 schools are playing different roles in some communities then people are used to them traditionally doing. The FSCS model seemed to align with the needs of students and families during this crisis (i.e. food distribution, service coordination). It seems likely that policymakers and others may look to FSCS models when they think about how schools should be redesigned or invested in moving forward.
